Karen Allen, CCH

Karen-Allen-CCHI am a practitioner and educator, certified in classical homeopathy by the Council for Homeopathic Certification in 1996. I began practicing in the Seattle, WA area in 1994, and for the past 9 years, my work has been primarily for clients with fertility issues. In addition to homeopathy, I use counseling, gemmotherapy, biochemic and dietary therapies with my clients. I teach at conferences and schools in North America, and have authored two widely used homeopathic textbooks. Additionally, I am the creator of Virtual Clinic, a clinically-based distance learning program in homeopathic case analysis.

My clinical and teaching work has been done in combination with volunteer work to build the homeopathic profession. For the past 10 years, I have been on the Board of Directors for the Council for Homeopathic Certification, which I now serve as President. . I am a regular participant / contributor at the conferences for NANHE,(The North American Network of Homeopathic Educators) NCH(National Center for Homeopathy) and the West Coast Homeopathic Society (WCHS). I am also a member of the Association of Reproductive Health professionals (ARHP) and the California Homeopathic Medical Society (CHMS).

Prior to my career in homeopathy, I worked in the Information Technology industry as a computer programmer, analyst, project manager and instructor from 1978 – 1991. The technical skills I developed during this time have assisted me in the development of multi-media distance learning programs in homeopathy. The analytical skills gained have helped me in applying algorithmic processes and critical thinking strategies to homeopathic case analysis and case management.
