Lauri Grossman DC
A
homeopath with a private practice in Manhattan, Lauri
Grossman is also a thought leader and an advocate for
humanizing medicine in the global healthcare discussion.
When the holistic health movement was in its infancy in
the 1980’s, she pioneered programs in integrative
medicine that improved outcomes in hospitals and medical
centers across America. Before the recent concerns about
the safety of prescription medications, Grossman was
training medical doctors and other health professionals
in ways to modify treatment plans so as to avoid harmful
side effects. Later on, she developed curricula in
homeopathy for leading medical schools and teaching
hospitals including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer
Center, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, and New York
University. An internationally renowned speaker,
writer, and educator, Grossman was recently named Chair
of the Healthcare Initiative for the Legends Institute
and the United Global Leadership World Congress in 2011.
She also serves as an Ambassador for Homeopaths Without
Borders and has served in countries as diverse as
France, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa and Trinidad. She
has been featured in The New York Times, Wall
Street Journal and U.S. News and World Report
and has appeared on Good Morning America and
Fox and Friends.
