Pamela A. Pappas MD, MD(H) ABPN, ABHM

Dr. Pam Pappas is a board-certified psychiatrist and classical homeopath practicing in Scottsdale, Arizona. She brings over 20 years’ patient care experience to her current practice, which also includes confidential support for physicians and other health practitioners. After graduating from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, she completed an Internal Medicine/Family Medicine internship and Psychiatric Medicine residency at East Carolina University School of Medicine. She later served a fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at Duke University Medical Center, and is also a graduate of Dr. Andrew Weil’s fellowship in Integrative Medicine at University of Arizona.

Dr. Pappas has developed psychiatric consultation services in several large medical centers, along with training medical students and residents in interviewing and Psychiatric Medicine. She is especially interested in developing compassionate listening and optimizing healing relationships.

A graduate of American Medical College of Homeopathy, Dr. Pappas is a licensed homeopathic physician in Arizona. She continues post-graduate homeopathic studies with Dr. Rajan Sankaran, Dr. Divya Chhabra, and California Center for Homeopathic Education. Serving as Distance Learning Consultant for AMCH, she also facilitates homeopathic learning modules for the Program in Integrative Medicine. Hiking, birdwatching, music, and poetry keep her connected to what matters most.
