1. AMCH Certificate Program Advisory Board

  • Chair: Darlene Atteberry

  • Purpose: Provides advisory input to AMCH Board of Directors regarding part-time Certificate programs.

  • Meets: Quarterly for about two hours, in person and by phone for long distance members.

2. AMCH Veterinary Advisory Board

  • Chair: Todd Rowe

  • Purpose: Provides advisory input to AMCH Board of Directors regarding veterinary programs.

  • Meets: Quarterly for about two hours, in person and by phone for long distance members.

3. AMCH Board of Directors

  • Chair: Patrick Hesselmann

  • Purpose: Legally responsible for the oversight and running of the non-profit corporation AMCH.

  • Meets: Every other month, by phone for two hours (except once per year, in person).

4. AMCH Distance Learning Committee

  • Chair: Lesley Hesslemann

  • Purpose: Provides advisory input to AMCH Board of Directors regarding part-time programs.

  • Meets: Quarterly, in person and by phone, for about 90 minutes.

5. AMCH Distance Learning Enhancement Group

  • Chair: Lesley Hesselmann

  • Purpose: Develop on-live versions of existing Distance Learning courses; develop more on-line courses when current ones are on line.

  • Meets: Being formed – starts in May 2007.

6. AMCH Finance Committee

  • Chair: Harry Swope

  • Purpose: Oversees AMCH’s financial policies and investments.

  • Meets: Being formed – starts in May 2007. Will meet quarterly by phone for about 90 minutes.

7. AMCH Audit Committee

  • Chair: Harry Swope

  • Purpose: Reviews Accountants' and Auditors' work for reasonableness, effectiveness and validity.

  • Meets: Being formed – starts in May 2007.

8. AMCH Fundraising Committee

  • Chair: Darlene Atteberry

  • Purpose: Carries out fundraising for AMCH Capital Campaign

  • Meets: Monthly in person and by phone for about two hours.

9. AMCH Steering Committee

  • Chair: Todd Rowe

  • Purpose: Steer AMCH Fundraising Committee towards potential donors

  • Meets: Monthly by phone for about two hours.

10. AMCH International Affairs Committee

  • Chair: Rebecca Walpole

  • Purpose: Creates liaisons with other homeopathic schools internationally

  • Meets: Being formed: Starts June 2007

11. AMCH Legislative Committee

  • Chair: Kristina Star

  • Purpose: Promotes legislation necessary for the continuance and survival of AMCH.

  • Meets: Monthly, by phone, for about 2 hours.

12. AMCH Marketing Committee

  • Chair: Need a volunteer!

  • Purpose: Markets all AMCH programs.

  • Meets: To be determined by Chair and initial committee members.

13. AMCH Newsletter Committee

  • Chair: Dianne Kleber

  • Purpose: Writes and distributes AMCH Letter and AMCH Health Letter.

  • Meets: Being formed. Starts June 2007 or sooner.

14. AMCH Postgraduate Training Committee

  • Chair: Need a volunteer!

  • Purpose: Markets all AMCH seminars

  • Meets: To be determined by Chair and initial committee members.

15. AMCH Fundraising Conference and Dinner Committee

  • Chair: Debbie Noah

  • Organize annual fundraising conference and dinner in key locations of support for AMCH across the country.

  • Meets: Being formed: Starts May 2007 or sooner.

16. AMCH Technology Committee

  • Chair: Need a volunteer!

  • Purpose: Coordinates and plans for all AMCH Technology needs, including web-based learning tools, computer infrastructure and planning, etc.

  • Meets: To be determined by Chair and initial committee members.

17. American Museum of Homeopathy Committee

  • Chair: Nancy Tichenor

  • Purpose: Directs all AMHC Museum of Homeopathy activities.

  • Meets: Being formed. Starts June 2007 or sooner.

  

Volunteer Positions Working at AMCH in Phoenix

   

  1. Library Assistant (cataloging books using library software)

  2. Administrative Assistant (helping in the front office)

  3. Technology Assistant (helping with switch to DVD from VCR technology, maintaining computers etc.)

  4. Marketing Assistant (writing press releases, mailing brochures, etc.)
