AMCH International Senior Elective

This elective is designed to span 300 hours in the fourth year of studies. We anticipate this to take 2-3 months to complete. Its purpose is to provide more intensive studies of homeopathic medicine within an international setting. The focus should be predominantly clinical. The rotations would be run quarterly. Students would be required to be in their fourth year of training. Students would be required to obtain J1 visas. Students would be expected to take care of their own travel expenses.

AMCH Senior Student Exchange Program

This elective would be designed to span 600 hours in the fourth year of studies. We anticipate this to take one semester (two quarters) to complete. Its purpose is to provide more intensive studies of homeopathic medicine within an international setting. The focus should be predominantly clinical. The rotations would be run each semester. Students would be required to be in their fourth year of training. Students would be required to obtain J1 visas. Students would be expected to take care of their own travel expenses. Students visiting the US would be expected to pay their own living expenses, although AMCH would assist them in finding inexpensive housing. Visiting students to AMCH would be covered under the AMCH Insurance Policy.

Visiting Faculty Program

Visiting faculty would teach at the college for 1-3 weeks. They would be  reimbursed for their teaching at the standard rate. They would be required to have an educational visa. The faculty would be guaranteed a minimum of fifteen hours per week of teaching.

Faculty Exchange Program

Faculty exchange would be for either one or two semesters. They would be required to obtain a J1 exchange visa. Faculty would be reimbursed at current faculty rate. AMCH would provide housing for exchange faculty, working at AMCH. Faculty would be expected to teach at least 15 hours per week.

Collaborative Research Program

The AMCH Research Institute provides research opportunities in classical homeopathy. Conjoint research opportunities are possible.

Internship Program

We would be interested in internship possibilities for our graduating students. These would span either one or two semesters. They would be hospital based. Students would be expected to receive a small stipend for their work. We are unable to offer internship programs to visiting students at this time. They would be required to have an educational visa.

College Affiliations

College affiliations are important to provide partnership for common goals. This would be predicated on program similarity and complementarity.
