Dual Program with the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture
   

The AMCH and the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture (PIHMA) have developed an articulation agreement whereby students of either program can transfer certain classes and credits, allowing them to complete both programs simultaneously or in a modified format extending one's studies for an additional year or two. This program is scheduled to be available in February 2009.

  

  

Proposed Full-Time Doctor of Classical Homeopathy Program 
  

The American Medical College of Homeopathy (AMCH) is in the Process of creating a new degree program: Doctor of Classical Homeopathy Program
(4070 clock hours). This program will span four years and will be a full-time

Homeopathic Medical Assistant and Homeopathic Practitioner Certificate Programs: Part-Time
  

AMCH offers a 900 hour part-time program in homeopathic medicine: Homeopathic Medical Assistant Certificate Program and Homeopathic Practitioner Certificate Program. This program is licensed through the State of Arizona and accredited through the Council on Homeopathic Education. The program meets three days per month for three years. More Information
  

  

Homeopathic Practitioner Distance Learning Programs
  

Distance learning courses (40 clock hours) and (50 clock hours) are available through the American Medical College of Homeopathy as part of the Homeopathic Practitioner Distance Learning Program I and II. These courses are open to anyone, and are delivered on CD’s. The Distance Learning Program II includes the loan of videotaped cases. The courses are designed to teach the essentials of classical homeopathy and they help prepare physicians for the licensing exam with the Arizona Homeopathic Licensing Board exam.
  
  

Acute Care Class
  

This is a 40 hour introductory class in homeopathic medicine that meets once per month for six months. The instructor is Debbie Noah, HMA. More information.
  

  

Veterinary Program: Part-Time Program
  

This is a part-time program scheduled to start in September 2008. This program will have two tracks, one for licensed veterinarians (DVM's) and the other for homeopathic veterinary assistants (HVA’s). More information.
  

  

Proposed Track Programs: Medical Track and Homeopathic Track
  

Some students may elect to study only the Medical Track of the program. To do this, they must place out of the homeopathic curriculum (see below). Other students may elect to only study the Homeopathic Track of the program. To do this, they must place out of the medical curriculum (see below).
  

  

Proposed Non-Degree Enrollment
  

Non-degree students are those who wish to participate in the program but who do not wish to apply to the degree program. This requires the submitting of a brief application and the payment of the appropriate fees. Non-degree students may enroll in a maximum of 30 lecture contact hours per quarter. Non-degree students are ineligible for financial aid. Individuals denied admission cannot attend as non-degree students. Non-degree students will be considered only when space is available in the classroom.
