  • Bonnie Phelps PhD

    Co-Chair of IRB

    Bonnie Phelps, PhD. Most of Bonnie's professional life has been as a researcher in the areas of microbiology/cell biology, cancer, and developmental biology. Bonnie continues to consult part time with a microbiological testing lab in Tucson, AZ. She has a BS in Microbiology from Penn State University a PhD in Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut Health Sciences Center, and is a graduate of AMCH's Homeopathic Medical Assistant program. Bonnie currently practices homeopathy at Tucson Homeopathy in Tucson, AZ but continues to be drawn to the active role research can play in furthering the acceptance of homeopathy worldwide.
  • Carol Carrell NMD

    Carol A. Carrell, NMD, is a graduate of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Tempe, Arizona. She holds a MA in marital family therapy from Azusa Pacific University, Azusa, CA; a BS in Health Services Administration from University of Phoenix, San Jose, CA. She was an adjunct professor in the graduate program at Azusa Pacific University where she taught advanced developmental psychology, child therapy and alcohol and drug education. In addition, she has taught at California State University, Humboldt in the psychology department, a class in family relationships in contemporary society. During her 15 years in health services administration she helped to shape legislative efforts in California by serving on the California State Health Care Services Committee. She was one of the youngest elected delegates to the 1981 California State White House Conference on Aging representing Alameda County. In addition she sat on the advisory boards for Merritt College and Ohlone College. Publication includes “Who Will Heal the Little Ones? Helping Child Victims” in “Sexual Misconduct in Counseling and Ministry”. During her employment with Humboldt County Mental Health Department she was a clinical supervisor of both licensed therapists and interns. Dr. Carrell is a writer and photographer with a special emphasis on nature photography

    I AM A Homeopathic Practitioner~ which is an honor, yes; honor, to be involved with people at this depth of healing. I graduated from the American Medical College of Homeopathy as a Classical Homeopath, now I am the founder of Healing Cure 4 U. I pursued further education in the Classical and Sensation Methods in Toronto, Ontario, 2011. As a Proving Supervisor I support continuing research in homeopathic medicine. My passion (and personality) is an asset as the Marketing Director and Enrollment Counselor for American Medical College of Homeopathy. I believe in excellence in homeopathic education and enjoy bringing awareness to the movement of this Green Medicine. I keep balance in my life by reading and listening to teachers of all sorts, spending time with family/friends and being in nature. Traveling has recently become more a part of my life; been bitten by “travel bug” and am excited to explore new cultures …including Homeopathy Without Borders. ~ Truly, homeopathy found me and has become my Resounding Truth~

Dominick has been working for world leading consulting firms such as Cap Gemini, Keane, and Wipro, where he both managed Fortune 500 accounts and helped grow business in Europe and the Americas. In his early career as a System Engineer Dominick focused on optimizing large scale architectures and mainframe computers internal code, managed multi-centre IT organizations and reorganized data centres across Europe. Dominick then helped Cap Gemini with its overall transformation and various merger & acquisitions, leading the training of entire management and executive teams as well as the management of business performance for several countries and subsidiaries. Dominick developed or contributed to multiple methodologies and publications on Market and Account Planning, Strategic Planning & Execution, Governance, PMO, Enterprise Portfolio and Benefits Realization.     Gabrielle is a world renowned homeopath and teacher. She specializes in women's health, infants and children. Gabrielle has conducted double-blind clinical research on concentration difficulties, nervousness and anxiety. Gabrielle formerly worked at a an in-patient treatment center for Trauma, Eating Disorders, Pain and Addictions. Gabrielle has two practices conveniently located in north and south San Diego: an integrative holistic clinic and an OB-GYN clinic. Gabrielle graduated from a 5-year homeopathic degree in South Africa, followed by a year conducting clinical research. Her training includes experience in private practice, hospital and rural settings. She went on to complete 2- years post graduate training in Clinical and Classical homeopathy (M.F. Hom and C.E.H.D). Gabrielle is on the faculty of The Homeopathic Academy of Southern California, The Los Angeles School of Homeopathy, Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and The American Medical College of Homeopathy. Gabrielle teaches homeopathy as well as the medical sciences (anatomy and pathology). Gabrielle is regularly invited to speak at conventions both nationally and internationally (London, Australia, Pakistan, Dubai, South Africa and Columbia), as well as on television and radio. Gabrielle is the founder of the World Homeopathy Awareness Organization (WHAO), and the founder of World Homeopathy Awareness Week. She was awarded an honorary doctorate for her contribution towards the profession.

    Dr. Swope graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 1989. In 2005, he was one of the initial group to receive a Naturopathic Doctor's license in California. Prior to that, he held an Arizona license as a naturopathic physician. For over fifteen years he participated in efforts to license NDs in California, serving for several years during the final phase as a board member and Treasurer of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association. With the invaluable support of Durr Elmore, DC, ND, DHANP and others, he founded the Council for Homeopathic Certification in 1991. He has remained on that board to support the organizations goal of creating a unified and respected homeopathic profession based on shared standards of training, competency, and ethical behavior. In 2005 he was recognized by the National Center for Homeopathy with the Henry Williams Professional Service Award, in large part for the contribution that the Council for Homeopathic Certification has made. He is a past board member and Vice President of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. He was one of the founders of the Institute for Natural Medicine. He is a past board member and Vice President of the National Center for Homeopathy. He has recently accepted an invitation to be a member of the advisory board and the Treasurer for the American Medical College of Homeopathy which is being established in Arizona.
  • Iris Bell MD, MD(H), PhD

    Dr. Bell graduated with an AB degree in biology from Harvard University, magna cum laude. She then received her PhD in Neuro- and Biobehavioral Sciences and her MD from Stanford University. After completing her psychiatry residency at the University of California - San Francisco, Dr. Bell served as a faculty member at the University of California - San Francisco and, later, at Harvard Medical School. She is board-certified in psychiatry, with added qualification in geriatric psychiatry. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, as well as over a dozen book chapters, and a monograph on environmental chemical sensitivity. She has received grant funding from the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and numerous private foundations on topics ranging from nutrition in dementia and depression to the neurobiology of environmental illness to individual difference predictors of excellent outcomes during classical homeopathic treatment. Dr. Bell is currently Professor of Psychiatry, Psychology, Medicine, Family & Community Medicine, and Public Health as well as Director of Research for the Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. She also directs an NIH-funded T32 Complementary and Alternative Medicine Research Training Grant for predoctoral and postdoctoral fellows.
