Welcome to PIHMA Center for Professional Education and Development
Those who hear the call to serve humanity as a healer often choose homeopathy as a career. They do so because they perceive that medicine should treat the whole person, doing so in a safe and gentle way that works with the body’s innate healing potential.
Homeopathy is a form of alternative medicine that is set upon principles that are over one hundred fifty years old. Homeopathy is the second most common form of alternative medicine in the world today. It is safe, inexpensive and can be curative of many chronic diseases. In homeopathy, we strive to meet the needs of today’s clients.
Homeopathic education is different from many other fields of education. It is broad in its scope. And at bottom, it is learning about all life.
True learning gets to the heart of what it is to be human. It gives us the capacity to recreate ourselves, to do what we never could do before and to change our relationship to the world. Homeopathic education changes the student, providing new ways of seeing and perceiving the world. There is a deep need inside each of us for this kind of learning.
At CPED, we provide a collaborative, inspiring learning environment that provides a solid foundation for practice. We have a community of exceptional and dedicated healers and provide a student-oriented faculty. We strive to create an intellectually stimulating and emotionally satisfying environment of inquiry.
We offer a 150 hour clinical homeopathy course (online), a 1,300 hour homeopathic practitioner certificate program (campus based and online), a 40 hour Introduction to Homeopathy Course (campus based and online), and an integrative medicine self-paced learning program tailored for Medical Doctors and other allied health professionals.
We provide both high quality academic and clinical education. Central to our curriculum philosophy is clinical training that comprises much of our curriculum. We also place strong value on individualized learning, humanism, self-awareness and community as integral parts of the education of being a healer.
