NEW! 45-Hour Acute Care Course
The American Medical College of Homeopathy (AMCofH) is excited to announce its NEW 45-Hour Acute Care course! AMCofH has partnered with Dr. Maryann Ivons to bring its students a comprehensive and detailed Acute Care course that teaches students how to identify acute conditions and find an acute remedy to help treat the condition.
Acute care is therapeutically and cost-effective, as well as a safe way to address acute illnesses, which is why AMCofH,
considers this Acute Care course to be the perfect introduction to Homeopathy! According to Dr. Ivons, “Students will get a basic understanding of the physiology and pathophysiology of common acute conditions. This will allow them to understand “what is to be treated”. They will also get a range of common presentations of these conditions and the related homeopathic remedies.”
This course is completely online and is self-paced. Once you purchase the course you will have six months to complete the 16 modules. Each module goes over a specific bodily system or ailment. The modules are:
- Principles of Acute Homeopathic Care
- Abdominal Pain
- Acute Diarrhea and Constipation
- Cough
- Eyes and Ears
- Female Reproductive System
- Head Trauma, Strokes and Headache
- Heart
- Infectious Diseases
- Male Reproductive System

- Nausea and Vomiting
- Nose and Throat
- Peripheral Nervous System
- Respiratory System
- Urinary System
Each module is approximately three hours.
